Lo-Gaphuk Kagyü Njing Samten Chöling Gompa (monastery) behind Lo Manthang in Upper Mustang, close to the Chinese/Tibetan border, 3,800 m
Lama Lhakpa, head of the Shedra (a Buddhist philosophers' school) of the Lo-Gaphuk Kagyü Njing monastery, currently supervises 24 young monks and nuns. The children and adolescents receive a general school education and the classic Buddhist education.
We financially support the Shedra so as to ensure all daily necessities, i. e. food, clothes, medical supplies, the teachers' salaries, the cook, school books, notebooks, pens etc. Please mark your donation with "Project 4".
